SSEO checks the SEO of the page you are on and tells you what to fix. Click the SSEO icon and a side panel opens next to the page. In about 20 seconds you get a score out of 100, a score for each of 14 categories, and a list of every issue with the evidence from the page and how to fix it. Every audit is saved, so you can come back to a page, run it again and see whether the score moved. WHAT IT CHECKS • Core SEO: title, meta description, a single H1, canonical, viewport, robots meta, Open Graph • Content: heading order, word count, empty headings, keyword stuffing, language • Links: broken internal and external links, redirect chains, weak anchor text • Images: missing alt text, missing dimensions, old formats, lazy loading • Structured data: JSON-LD presence and validity, Organization and WebSite schema, breadcrumbs • Security: HTTPS, HSTS, Content-Security-Policy, clickjacking protection and other headers • Crawlability: robots.txt, sitemap, noindex conflicts • Also URL structure, social cards, hreflang, legal pages, analytics, author and date signals, and page weight THE SIDE PANEL • Score ring, verdict and a count of failing checks, warnings and passes • Tap a category to see only its checks • Tabs for issues, notes, passed checks and the raw page data • Follows the tab you are on, and offers to audit any page you switch to THE DASHBOARD • Every site you audited, with an average score • Each page with its score, failing checks, warnings and full run history • A page report with a score trend across runs, findings grouped by category, and a picker for older runs • Audit any address by pasting it in PDF REPORTS Save any page report, or a whole site, as a PDF to send to a client or a teammate. HOW TO USE 1. Open any website. 2. Click the SSEO icon in the toolbar. The side panel audits the page. 3. Open an issue to see what was found and how to fix it. 4. Click Dashboard to see every site and page you have checked. Tip: type sseo, a space, then Enter in the address bar to open the dashboard. PRIVACY Your audits stay on your computer. SSEO has no server, no account and no analytics. When you start an audit, your browser fetches that page, its robots.txt and sitemap, and checks the links on it, directly from those sites and without your cookies. Delete any page, site or your whole history from the dashboard at any time. PERMISSIONS • Read and change your data on all websites: needed to download the page you choose to audit and to check its links, which can point to any site.
