Sends videos, audio and files from your browser to the SSDownload download manager for Windows. Requires the free SSDownload app.

SSDownload adds a download button to the videos you watch and sends videos, audio and files to the SSDownload download manager for Windows. IMPORTANT: This extension works together with the free SSDownload desktop app for Windows 10 and 11. Without the app it does nothing on web pages; its toolbar button then links to the download page: https://ssdownload.isolmaz.com/download What it does • A "download this video" button on the video you are playing • Pick the quality, the audio and subtitle tracks, or save it as MP3 • Right-click any link or media to send it to SSDownload • Optional: let SSDownload take over ordinary browser downloads (off by default) What the app does • Up to 16 connections per file, and a resume that never mixes two versions of a file • A queue with drag-to-reorder, speed limits, time windows and batch ranges • Free and open source (MIT), no account, no tracking Privacy The extension talks only to the SSDownload app on the same computer, through the browser's native messaging. Nothing is sent to any SSDownload server; there is none. A site's cookies are read only after you allow it for that one site. The extension and the app speak English and Turkish; the extension follows the language set in the app. DRM-protected content is not supported. Download only content you have the right to download.
