Spotunes

An early iTunes-inspired interface for Spotify Web.

Bring a classic desktop music-player feel to Spotify Web. Spotunes adds a silver toolbar, a compact now-playing display and a lighter library interface while Spotify continues to handle music, account access and playback. Supported interface areas include Home, playlists and Liked Songs, albums, artists, search and the now-playing sidebar. Layout adapts to available window space. Unrecognized page structures retain their native interface; not every Spotify experiment or popup is themed. Open Spotunes from the extensions toolbar to Enable the interface, Pause it for the current page, or Restore Spotify's original appearance until you enable it again. No additional account, Spotify API key or developer server is required. Preferences stay on your device. Spotunes does not upload listening activity, page content or diagnostics. This is an early release. Spotify Web changes regularly, and some narrow layouts or new page variants may retain native styling. Spotify account and playback restrictions still apply. Spotunes does not download music, remove ads, bypass subscriptions or replace Spotify's player. Spotunes is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify or Apple.
