Find the page you remember without digging through browser history. Search by exact keyword or meaning from Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+K. SpotRecall combines keyword search for error codes, URLs, and version numbers with an on-device multilingual AI model for meaning-based search. Where Chrome 138+ provides its on-device Translation API, you can search across English, Japanese, and Chinese; otherwise it falls back to same-language search. Keep tabs tidy with optional auto-close. It closes inactive tabs only after you enable it and only when you exceed your keep limit. Indexed pages remain searchable. Active, pinned, grouped, audible, and form-filled tabs are protected, and every window keeps at least one tab. Reopen tabs closed in the last 48 hours. Page text, titles, URLs, and timestamps stay in a local browser database. Your pages and queries are never uploaded. There is no account, cloud sync, analytics, or tracking. At install, SpotRecall indexes titles and URLs from bookmarks and open tabs; it does not import old history. Semantic search downloads a public multilingual model of about 135 MB once and caches it locally. No browsing data is sent; after caching, it works offline. SpotRecall is open source under AGPL-3.0.
