Spotify Web Now Playing

Export Spotify Web “now playing” song to a local file

This extension keeps a JSON file in sync with the currently playing song on Spotify Web (open.spotify.com). This is useful to make use of that information locally, for instance displaying the title and artist in the task bar, or whatever else you fancy. The JSON file includes: the artist, the title and the cover art URL.
