Overview

Annotate a Spot-reviewed website in your current Chrome tab.

Spot brings website feedback directly onto the page you are reviewing. Open a Spot invitation, connect your review, and pin comments to specific page elements. • Owners manage reviews and can annotate, reply, and resolve feedback. • Reviewers and QA teammates create annotations and join comment threads. • Developers reply to existing annotations and mark fixes done or reopen them. Getting started 1. Open the invitation from your Spot project owner. 2. Enter your name and choose Start reviewing (or Open feedback for developers). The reviewed website opens with the review connected. 3. Click Spot in Chrome’s toolbar, then Start review. Your name is remembered during the browser session. You can change your review or name in the extension. Manual review-link setup remains available. Spot activates only when you start a review on the matching website. Only trusted Spot invite pages can connect to the extension. It uses the existing Spot service to save annotations and replies; no code installation on the reviewed website is required. Requires a valid Spot review link and an internet connection. This release supports elements in the main document of ordinary HTTP(S) websites. Embedded iframe contents and browser-internal pages are not supported.
