Spoof Timezone Next is a modern Manifest V3 Chrome extension that lets you override the timezone websites detect through JavaScript Date and Intl APIs. Built for the current Chrome extension platform, it patches page scripts locally in your browser — no accounts, no cloud, no tracking. Features: • Date & Intl protection — overrides getTimezoneOffset, Intl.DateTimeFormat, resolvedOptions, and common Date formatting methods so sites see your chosen timezone. • Fixed timezone — pick any IANA timezone (default: Europe/London). Useful to match your proxy or VPN location. • Random mode — a new timezone on each page load to reduce fingerprinting based on timezone. • Per-site toggle — enable or disable spoofing for the current hostname from the popup. Your choice is remembered automatically. • Keyboard shortcut — press Ctrl+Shift+T (⌘+Shift+T on Mac) to toggle spoofing on the active site. • Site scope — apply spoofing to all sites, only a whitelist, or everywhere except a blacklist. • Master switch — turn the extension off globally without uninstalling. • Local-only — all settings are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. No analytics, no ads, no remote code. How to use: 1. Install Spoof Timezone Next 2. Choose a fixed or random timezone in Settings 3. Open any website and toggle spoofing from the popup 4. Refresh the page so the site re-reads the spoofed timezone Verify in DevTools console: Intl.DateTimeFormat().resolvedOptions().timeZone Note: Some inline scripts in <head> may read the real timezone before the patch applies. Refresh after changing settings. Chrome Web Store and extension pages cannot be modified by extensions (browser restriction). Privacy: Spoof Timezone Next does not collect or transmit personal data.
