Splunk HEC sample logs

Create synthetic IT and security events and send them to your Splunk HTTP Event Collector.

This extension creates synthetic sample events and sends them to a Splunk HTTP Event Collector that you choose. Use it to fill a lab, demo, or dashboard with recent sample activity. Enter the collector URL, token, and index. Choose how many events to create and how many hours of history they should cover. You can set an optional source IP and preview the events before sending. Save URL and Save token keep those values in the extension on this computer. The token is stored only after you click Save token. When you send, Chrome asks permission for that collector host. Events are sample data, and they are sent only to the URL you provide.
