Overview

Split NetSuite saved searches into a navigation pane and a routed workspace pane.

SplitSearch adds a split workspace to NetSuite saved search results so users can review records without losing their place in the original list. When activated on a NetSuite saved search results page, SplitSearch keeps the saved search in a master navigation pane and opens selected NetSuite records in a workspace pane. The workspace supports multiple record tabs, quick reload controls, row highlighting for opened records, local search within the master pane, and keyboard shortcuts for moving through workspace tabs and saved quick links. On NetSuite record pages opened in the workspace pane, users can create local quick links to fields or subtabs. These saved locations are stored only in the user's browser and are scoped by record page type. Quick links can be hidden, reordered, removed, and optionally triggered with number keys. SplitSearch works only on NetSuite pages matching: https://*.app.netsuite.com/* https://*.netsuite.com/* Users must already be signed in to NetSuite and authorized to view the pages they open. SplitSearch does not bypass NetSuite permissions, does not collect login credentials, does not send data to external servers, and does not use remote code. All settings and saved quick links are stored locally in Chrome extension storage on the user's device. After installing or updating the extension, already-open NetSuite tabs may need to be refreshed before the toolbar button can toggle SplitSearch.
