Split View: Open Links in Other Pane
4 ratings
)Overview
When in Chrome Split View, clicking a link opens it in the other split pane tab (uses splitViewId when available).
This extension enhances Chrome’s native Split View feature. When two tabs are displayed side-by-side using Split View, left-clicking a link in the left pane opens the destination in the right pane instead of replacing the left pane page. If the CTRL key is held during the click, the link opens in the left pane as if it were a normal left click in Chrome. Example use would be with a google search in the left pane, you could browse through the results by left clicking and making them open in the right pane. To get to the next list of results you would hold the CTRL key and click the Google 'next' link. • Works only with Chrome’s built-in Split View • Does nothing when Split View is not active • No data collection
