SpellFix — AI Writing Tools & Voice Typing Correct, translate, rewrite, or speak your text without leaving your browser. SpellFix combines AI writing tools with local voice typing in supported website text fields. ✨ Correct your text in one click Type or paste your draft, then click the violet star. SpellFix corrects spelling, punctuation, and grammar while aiming to preserve your meaning and tone. The corrected text replaces your draft directly in the field. If a website prevents automatic replacement, review and copy the result from SpellFix Tools. 🎙️ Speak instead of typing Set up Voice Typing once: choose a supported language, download its local speech recognition pack if needed, and allow microphone access. Turn on Automatic Voice Typing, then click a supported text field and speak. No separate start click is needed for each field. A visible indicator shows when recognition is active. Recording stops when you leave the field, submit your message, switch tabs, or close the page. Turn Automatic Voice Typing on or off directly from the extension popup. Speech recognition runs locally using Chrome’s on-device capabilities. SpellFix does not send your voice recordings or transcripts to its server for transcription. Local recognition requires a compatible Chrome version and an available language pack. There is no automatic cloud recognition fallback. 🌍 Translate without switching tabs Open SpellFix Tools, choose your target language, and click Translate. Your current draft appears automatically in an editable preview, so you can make changes before translating. ✍️ Find the right writing style Choose a style such as Professional or Friendly and click Rewrite. Review the result, copy it, or apply it to the original text field. 💜 Tools that move with you Right-click and drag the violet correction button, tools button, or tools panel to a convenient position. Free includes two separate daily allowances: • 50 writing actions per day, shared across correction, translation, and rewriting • 50 voice activations per day, counted separately • Up to 1,000 words per writing action One voice activation means one successfully started recording session in a text field. Failed starts and technical restarts within the same field session do not consume additional activations. Both daily allowances reset at 00:00 UTC. SpellFix Premium — $5 USD per month Create an account and upgrade for: • Up to 1,000 writing actions per day • Up to 10,000 words per writing action • Unlimited voice activations Subscriptions are billed monthly through PayPal and can be cancelled from the extension. Privacy and control Correction, translation, and rewriting use Google Gemini AI through the SpellFix server. Text is sent for processing when you click the corresponding writing tool. Submitted writing is not stored in the SpellFix backend database. Voice recognition runs locally. Internet access is still required to check your daily voice allowance and Premium status. Quota checks do not transmit your audio or dictated text. Password fields are excluded. Account information is stored to manage sign-in and subscriptions. Payments are handled through PayPal. Optional usage analytics, when enabled, can include feature usage, error information, and IP addresses, retained until manually deleted. Submitted writing and browsing history are not included in these analytics. If you submit feedback, the details you enter are forwarded through FormSubmit for email delivery. Compatibility varies by website and editor. Some fields may require copying results manually. Voice Typing availability depends on Chrome, your device, microphone permissions, and local language support. Recognition accuracy can vary.
