SpeedKeys for Video
Overview
Customize video speed, seek, PiP, and quick-hide shortcuts to fit one hand while your other hand stays on the mouse.
SpeedKeys for Video lets you control webpage videos with customizable keyboard shortcuts. Set your own keys for speed up, slow down, toggle 1x, jump to a target speed, seek backward or forward, set and return to a marker, toggle Picture in Picture, toggle fullscreen, and quickly hide the current video page. The default layout focuses on practical video control, and you can personalize the shortcuts so frequently used actions fit under one hand while your other hand stays on the mouse. Features: - Customize every shortcut. - Adjust speed-up and slow-down steps independently. - Set minimum and maximum playback speed limits. - Seek backward and forward by configurable seconds. - Set a temporary marker and jump back to it. - Toggle Picture in Picture and fullscreen. - Quickly stash the current video tab and restore it by clicking the extension icon. - Use blacklist or whitelist site rules. - Show a temporary speed/status indicator with configurable position, opacity, size, duration, and language. - Save reusable shortcut profiles. The extension works on regular webpage video elements and ignores likely live media. Some browser-level shortcuts and deeply isolated cross-origin players may not be fully controllable due to browser restrictions.
