)Overview
A clean, simple playback speed controller for any video or audio on the web.
Control the playback speed of any video or audio on the web. Slow down a lecture to take notes, or speed through a podcast, all from one clean, simple popup. FEATURES • Slider and − / + buttons to change the speed in steps you choose • One-click speeds: a grid of your favourite speeds, with the current one highlighted • Type any speed from 0.07× to 100× • On/off switch and a one-click reset to 1.00× • Optional keyboard shortcuts (off until you turn them on in Settings) • Your speed is remembered across tabs and stays set when a site loads the next video • Works with embedded videos and videos inside page components • Quick tutorial the first time you open it • Clean, dark design LIGHTWEIGHT At 1.00× the extension doesn't run anything on the pages you visit, so it never slows down your browsing. At other speeds it only acts when a video or audio starts playing. PRIVATE No ads, no tracking, no account. Your settings are stored only on your computer and nothing is sent anywhere. GOOD TO KNOW • Chrome can't play faster than 16×. Above that, the video plays at 16× and skips ahead to keep up, so expect some stutter. • Speeds above 4× can cause lag or missing sound on some sites. Speed Adjuster is free. If it helps you, the heart button in the popup lets you leave an optional tip.
