Speech to Text (Voice Recognition)

Works great! Very accurate and picks up my voice from my built-in laptop mic even when I’m several feet away or speaking softly. The ONLY issue is that it doesn’t automatically add punctuation—saying 'period' or 'question mark' just types out the words instead of the actual punctuation marks. Because of this, I highly recommend using SpeechTexter.com instead. It’s not an extension, but I saved it to my bookmarks bar for easy access.

When opened the application appears as a separate pop out window and continues to transcribe in the background without interfering with the use of other tabs or applications. No punctuation and occasional transcription mistakes, but on par with other high quality dictation apps.
