Visualize frequency-band levels and changes on YouTube and YouTube Music. Audio is analyzed locally.

SpectraTube visualizes audio playing on YouTube and YouTube Music. Enjoy the movement of each frequency band with a car-audio-inspired, 13-band LED display or a line spectrum. Features • Display 13 frequency bands as LED bars or a line spectrum. • On YouTube, place the spectrum beside the normal player and automatically match its height. • In theater and fullscreen modes, overlay the spectrum on the video while matching its aspect ratio. • On YouTube Music, choose Below player or Over controls placement. • Show Music playback controls only on hover, or keep them visible. The seek bar follows the same choice. • Save separate Music bar-opacity values for normal and fullscreen views. The current display mode is detected automatically when you adjust the slider. • Choose from five colors: blue, violet, amber, lime green and white. • Adjust sensitivity from 70% to 130%. Drag sliders or use the mouse wheel, with normal or reversed wheel direction. • Keep separate settings for YouTube and YouTube Music. • Follow song changes and page reloads in a tab where analysis has already been started. Privacy Audio is analyzed locally on your device. The extension does not create or save audio recordings, or send audio or page information to external servers. It stores display preferences and minimal state needed to manage an active analysis session in the browser. No advertising, analytics or usage tracking are included. No separate extension account is required. Getting started 1. Play a song or video on YouTube or YouTube Music. 2. Click the spectrum button on the page or the SpectraTube toolbar icon to start. 3. Open the gear to adjust colors, opacity, sensitivity and other display settings. While settings are open, × or Esc returns to the spectrum without stopping analysis. In the spectrum view, × stops analysis. Please note Only one tab is analyzed at a time. Page layout, browser restrictions or protected media may prevent some analysis or display features from working. If the page button is unavailable, start from the extension's toolbar icon. The interface supports English and Japanese and follows your browser's UI language. SpectraTube is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or YouTube.
