SparkMarker
Overview
Comment on any element of any web page: place markers, reply, resolve them, and run accessibility checks.
SparkMarker lets you leave comments directly on the parts of a web page they are about. Switch it on, click the comment button, then click anything on the page: a heading, a button, a form field, a table row, an image. A marker is placed on that element and you can write your comment there. Markers stay attached to their element when the page is scrolled, resized or reloaded. What you can do • Comment on any element. If the thing you want is underneath something else, press Tab to step through the layers, or the arrow keys to move to the surrounding element. • Reply to comments and mark them as resolved. • See every comment in one list, for the current page or the whole site. Search it, filter by open or resolved, and export it as a CSV file. • Run an accessibility check on the current page against the WCAG 2 guidelines. Each finding is placed on the element it concerns, with a link to the relevant guideline. • Switch SparkMarker off from the toolbar popup and it disappears from every page. Where your data is kept Everything stays in your browser. Your account, comments and replies are stored on your device and are not sent anywhere. This also means they are not shared with other people or other devices. Use Export CSV in the comment list to keep or pass on a copy. SparkMarker does not show ads and does not track your browsing.
