SourceFrame — Source-backed AI briefs
Overview
Turn selected tabs, AI chats, and web sources into structured briefs: sources visible, tradeoffs explicit, evidence gaps called out.
SourceFrame turns browser tabs, AI chats, saved sources, and prompts into source-backed briefs you can inspect, refine, share, and draft from. Use the Chrome extension to capture selected web pages, ChatGPT conversations, and Claude conversations from your open tabs, then create structured Summary, Comparison, or Recommendation Briefs in SourceFrame. Each brief stays tied to its source set, so you can see what came from web pages, what came from an AI conversation, and what still needs verification. On supported ChatGPT and Claude pages, SourceFrame can show a small “Create brief” action beside AI responses. Use it to send the current exchange or visible chat to SourceFrame as a source. You can disable this action anytime from SourceFrame Preferences. Use SourceFrame to: • Create briefs from selected tabs, AI chats, saved sources, or prompts • Turn useful ChatGPT and Claude exchanges into structured briefs • Compare AI answers against web sources • Summarize messy source sets into clear takeaways • Compare options, criteria, tradeoffs, and risks • Generate recommendation briefs with evidence gaps called out • Ask follow-up questions from the same source-backed context • Create drafts from your briefs Your briefs, sources, and drafts are available in the SourceFrame web app, where you can review, organize, and continue working from the same context. SourceFrame is built for people who use AI and the web together, then need to turn scattered context into something structured, sourced, and usable.
