Overview
Save open-data datasets to SCF lists and turn any web page into an SCF contribution.
Save useful data sources while you browse. This extension makes it easy to collect open datasets, web resources, tools, documentation, and real-world use cases without interrupting your research. On supported open-data portals, it automatically detects available metadata, including the publisher, description, license, access links, data formats, topics, and data model. You can then save the resource to an existing list or create a new one in a single click. It also works on regular web pages. Choose whether the page represents a data source, tool, use case, or documentation, then continue with a pre-filled contribution form. Useful for researchers, journalists, analysts, developers, public-interest organizations, and anyone who needs to: Build curated collections of reliable data sources Keep datasets organized by project or topic Capture metadata before links and context get lost Share reusable source lists with collaborators Document how data can be accessed and reused Spend less time copying metadata and more time understanding and using data.
