🎧 Sound Saver — Keep the Tracks You Love, in the Format You Need Music Downloader is a small browser extension that saves audio tracks and whole playlists from the music page you are looking at. Open a track, click the toolbar icon, choose a format and a bitrate, and the file lands in your downloads folder with its cover art and tags already in place. No account, no desktop software, no copying links between windows. ▶ How it works 1. Open a track page in your browser. 2. Click the extension icon in the toolbar. 3. Pick the output format — MP3, M4A, Opus or WAV — and a bitrate. 4. Press Download. A progress page opens and the file is saved as soon as it is ready. That is the whole flow. The popup recognises the page you are on, so there is nothing to paste and nothing to search for. ▶ Formats for every player • MP3 — the universal choice. Plays in every car stereo, phone, laptop and old MP3 player, at 128, 192, 256 or 320 kbps. • M4A (AAC) — efficient and great sounding, the natural fit for Apple devices and iTunes or Music libraries. • Opus — the modern codec with excellent quality at small sizes, ideal when storage is tight. • WAV — uncompressed audio for editing, sampling, DJ software and audio workstations. Your last choice of format and bitrate is remembered, so the next download is one click. ▶ Cover art and tags included Every MP3, M4A and Opus file is saved with the track's artwork embedded and the title and artist written into the tags. Your library looks right the moment the file arrives: covers show up in your music app, on your phone's lock screen and in the car display, and tracks sort correctly by artist instead of piling up as "Unknown". ▶ Whole playlists in one go Open a playlist or an album page and the extension lists every track in it. Choose the format once and the tracks are saved one after another, with a running counter and a clear list of anything that could not be fetched. Long playlists are handled in order, so you can leave the tab open and come back to a finished folder. ▶ Trim before you save Only need the intro, a drop or a single section of a long mix? Set a start and an end time in the popup and only that part is saved. Handy for ringtones, samples, practice loops and clips for a video edit. Leave both fields empty to keep the full track. ▶ Fast and light The conversion runs on our servers, not on your computer, so the extension stays tiny and your browser stays responsive. There is nothing to install besides the extension itself — no codecs, no helper app, no command line. A clean progress page shows the current step and the speed, and the file is handed to your browser's regular download manager when it is done, so it appears in your usual downloads list. ▶ Private by design • No sign-up and no login. • The extension only reads the address of the page you open it on, and only when you click the icon. • No browsing history is collected, no ads are injected into pages and nothing runs in the background while you browse. • Files are deleted from the conversion server shortly after delivery. ▶ Available in your language The interface is translated into English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Turkish, and follows your browser language automatically. You can switch it any time from the popup. ▶ Who it is for • Listeners who want their favourite tracks offline on a flight, in the subway or anywhere with a weak connection. • DJs and producers building a crate of WAV or high-bitrate files for their software. • Podcast and audiobook fans who prefer a plain audio file on their phone. • Creators who need a short, trimmed clip for an edit. • Anyone with an older MP3 player, a car stereo with a USB port or a phone with little storage. ▶ Tips • For the widest compatibility choose MP3 at 320 kbps. • For the smallest files with good quality choose Opus. • For iPhone, iPad and Mac libraries choose M4A. • For editing and DJ software choose WAV; it skips lossy compression on our side. • If a track is private, make sure you open it through its full share link so the extension can see it. • Some tracks are offered by their owners only as a short preview; in that case only the preview is available to save. ▶ Please respect creators This extension is meant for content you own, content released under a free or Creative Commons license, and tracks whose authors allow downloads. Please respect copyright and the terms of the platform you are using, and support the artists you enjoy — buy their music, go to their shows and share their work. ▶ Feedback We read every message.
