Seems to do what I need. I am doing some online training, and some videos on the subscription site are an annoyingly low sound level. Even with web pages internal video level and computer volume all the way up. Plus I'd forget to turn the computer volume back down when done with the video and end up blowing my ear drums out on the next "normal sound level" to play on the computer! This fixed the issue.
