The Production Assistant does the calculation for you. How it works: 1. Open any Expanded BOM report in SOS Inventory. Make sure you expand the subassemblies. 2. After displaying the report, click the floating "Analyze BOM" button. 3. Instantly see a breakdown of: -- Assemblies to Build: Every sub-component that needs production to meet the final goal. -- Components to Purchase: Exactly what's missing from your current stock. -- Financial Impact: A total cost estimate for the entire production run. Whether you're managing a simple build or a 10-level deep complex assembly, this tool ensures you never miss a component again. Note: This tool does not store or transmit any SOS Inventory data; it simply reads the page you are currently viewing to perform the calculations locally in the browser.
