Overview
Capture time-sensitive thoughts while you work: tasks, region screenshots, voice notes and page links — synced to your Soodo lists.
Soodo Quick Capture puts your lists one click away, so a thought that arrives mid-task doesn't cost you the task you were doing. You're concentrating on something. A thought turns up — an errand, a follow-up, something on the page in front of you. Switching apps to write it down costs you the thing you were concentrating on, so you don't, and it's gone. This is the two-second version of writing it down. WHAT IT DOES • Quick add, in plain language Type "call mum tomorrow !high #family" and it becomes a task with a due date, a priority and a tag. Dates understood: today, tomorrow, in 2 days, next week, and any weekday name. Priorities: !critical, !high, !medium, !low. • Region screenshots Draw a box anywhere on the page and the crop attaches to a new task — so whatever you were looking at is still there when you come back to it. Start one from the toolbar, by right-clicking the page, or with a keyboard shortcut you can set in Chrome. • Voice notes One click to record straight into a task, for when talking is faster than typing or your hands are busy. • The page you're on, saved as a task One click on Page URL keeps the address with a task, so "read this later" doesn't mean forty open tabs. YouTube saves the video you're watching and tidies the link on the way — a share link, a Short or a watch page trailing a playlist all come out as the plain link to that video, timestamp included. • Your real lists, one click away Today, Week, Inbox, Starred and your own lists are right there, so a capture lands where it belongs instead of in a pile you have to sort later — and you can see what's already on a list and tick things off without leaving the page. • Or keep it open in the side panel Same Soodo, docked beside the page — it stays put while you browse and read, instead of vanishing the moment you click back into the page. Chrome only lets an extension see the page you're on when you start from the toolbar or a right-click, so capturing the page itself from the panel asks for access once, at the moment you first need it. • Syncs immediately Everything shows up in the Soodo web app straight away. GETTING STARTED 1. Create a free Soodo account at app.soodo.io if you don't have one — the extension captures into an existing account and has no sign-up of its own. 2. Click the Soodo icon in your toolbar and sign in with that email and password. 3. Start capturing — or open the side panel from the icon in the popup's corner to keep Soodo beside you while you work. Requires a free Soodo account.
