SolveMate puts an AI tutor on the homework page you are already working on. On McGraw Hill Connect, click Tutor on a question: the panel shows the answer and the reasoning, and the matching choice gets a green outline on the page so you can see which one it means. On any other homework page (Top Hat, Canvas quizzes and more), highlight the question and its choices, click the SolveMate toolbar icon and choose Tutor this page: the same panel appears with the answer and the reasoning. SolveMate never selects or submits anything for you — you read the explanation, then decide what to do. Sign in at solvemate.net (create a free account with email or Google) — the extension picks up the login on its own. You can also sign in from the extension's popup. 3. On McGraw Hill Connect: open an assignment. A small SolveMate tab appears at the edge of the page. Click it, then click Tutor on a question to see the answer and the reasoning. 4. Anywhere else: highlight the question on the page (include the answer choices if you can see them), click the SolveMate toolbar icon, then click Tutor this page. The panel appears on that page with the answer and the reasoning. If nothing was highlighted, the panel tells you to highlight the question and try again. PRIVACY SolveMate runs on McGraw Hill Connect pages and on solvemate.net. On any other page it does nothing until you click the SolveMate toolbar icon and choose Tutor this page, and then it runs only on that one tab, only that once. It never sees your general browsing. When you ask for an answer, SolveMate sends the question, its answer choices and the reading passage on the page — or, with Tutor this page, the text you highlighted — to solvemate.net, where an AI provider (Anthropic) produces the answer. Your email is used for your account. Nothing is sold or used for ads. The first time you use Tutor, the extension shows this notice and asks you to confirm.
