Organize Power Platform solutions into folders
Power Platform Solution Organizer adds a "Folders" tab to the Solutions page in Power Apps (make.powerapps.com), letting you organize solutions into custom folders for easier navigation — especially useful when working with dozens or hundreds of solutions. Key Features: - Custom Folders — Create folders and group solutions by project, team, release, or any structure that works for you. - Works Inside Power Apps — Seamlessly integrates as a new tab alongside Unmanaged, Managed, and All, styled to match the native Power Platform UI. - Multi-Environment Support — Folder configurations are saved per environment. Switch environments and your folders are already there. - Auto-Detection — Automatically detects your Dataverse URL from your session. No manual setup required. - Search & Multi-Select — Quickly find and add multiple solutions to a folder using the built-in search. - Drag & Drop — Reorder folders and solutions within folders by dragging. - Smart Solution Matching — Recognizes related solutions (e.g. _Upgrade holding solutions) and displays the correct metadata. - Export & Import — Share your folder structure across environments or with teammates via JSON export/import. Imported configs automatically pull fresh solution data from the target environment. - Solution Details — View display name, unique name, publisher, version, created date, and managed/unmanaged status at a glance. - Direct Links — Click any solution name to open it directly in Power Apps. How It Works: Navigate to Solutions in Power Apps Click the "Folders" tab Create folders with the + button Search and add solutions to your folders Your folder structure persists across sessions and page refreshes. Solution metadata is automatically refreshed from the Dataverse Web API to always show up-to-date information. Privacy: This extension only runs on make.powerapps.com. It stores folder configurations locally in your browser using Chrome storage. No data is sent to external servers.
