Practice that guitar solo until it's yours. Solo Looper adds a small floating panel on the YouTube videos you choose. Loop the passage you're working on, slow it down without changing the pitch, and play along with a metronome click that sits exactly on the beats of the song. ▶ LOOP • Set the start (A) and end (B) of the loop with one click while the video plays, or type the times (1:23.45). • Fine-tune each point by 0.1 s (Shift: 0.01 s). • Step back or forward by 0.2 s, pause, resume, jump back to A. ▶ SPEED • Slow down or speed up in 5% steps, from 25% to 200%. • The pitch stays the same, so you can play along in the original key. ▶ METRONOME ON THE REAL BEATS • "Detect beats" listens to the loop once and finds its tempo and the position of each beat. • A click then plays on every beat of the loop, even when slowed down. • Tap tempo, ½ / ×2, BPM and offset adjustments if the detection needs a hand. • Choose the meter and move the accent left or right. ▶ RESTART IN TEMPO • The loop is snapped to whole bars and jumps back to A exactly on the next downbeat, so you can play continuously without losing the pulse. ▶ ONLY WHERE YOU WANT IT • The panel stays hidden until you turn it on for a video (toolbar icon or Alt+S). The extension remembers which videos you enabled. • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+A / Alt+B (set A and B), Alt+L (loop), Alt+M (click), Alt+↑ / Alt+↓ (speed), Alt+T (tap), Alt+S (show / hide). • Interface in English and French. ▶ PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything happens in your browser. No account, no tracking, nothing is sent anywhere. • Settings are stored locally (tempo per video, panel position, volume, language).
