Solitask: focus on one task at a time
Overview
Press Begin. Solitask picks your next task, breathes you in, starts the clock and keeps you on one task until it's done.
Solitask is a quiet helper for people who have a list and still can't start. Press Begin. Solitask picks your next task, breathes you in, starts the clock and keeps you on one task until it's done. • It picks the next task for you: closest deadline first, across Google Tasks and its own list. Or pick any task yourself. • A short breathing pre-roll with the fox settles you in before the clock starts (you can turn it off). • One timer, one task, one question at the end: finished, or not yet? • Optional focus sound (brown, white, nature) that keeps playing while the popup is closed, or a link to a live lofi stream. • Saved tabs per task open automatically when you begin. • The timer lives in the background: close the popup, come back, nothing is lost. The toolbar badge counts down; you get a notification when time is up. • Finishing a task here completes it in Google Tasks too. No Solitask account. No AI. No tracking. Your data stays in your browser; it only talks to Google if you choose to connect Google Tasks. Not created by, affiliated with, or supported by Google. Open source under the MIT License.
