OVERVIEW SolenAI LinkedIn Comment Assistant is a Chrome extension for people who use SolenAI and want to engage more effectively on LinkedIn. It runs only on linkedin.com. When you are signed in with your SolenAI account, it adds a Suggest control on posts in your LinkedIn feed. You choose which posts to engage with. The extension helps you write a short, relevant comment draft that you can edit and publish yourself. This extension has a single, focused purpose: help you write better LinkedIn comments. It is not a general browsing tool, ad blocker, scraper, or auto-poster. WHAT IT DOES The extension adds a Suggest button on LinkedIn feed posts visible on the page. It sends the post text you can see, along with basic context such as author name, headline, and post URL when available, to your SolenAI account to generate a comment draft. Suggestions use your SolenAI voice profile so they match your professional tone. The draft is placed in LinkedIn’s comment box for you to review, edit, and post. You sign in with your existing SolenAI web account from the extension popup. You can turn optional activity tracking on or off at any time. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO The extension does not post comments for you. You always review, edit, and submit on LinkedIn. It does not access LinkedIn private messages or InMail. It does not run on websites other than LinkedIn. It does not collect your full browsing history across the web. It does not log individual keystrokes in the comment box. HOW TO GET STARTED Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup. Click Sign in with SolenAI. A browser tab opens to the SolenAI web app; sign in there if needed. Return to the extension popup. When sign-in succeeds, you are connected. Go to LinkedIn and open a post you want to comment on. Click Suggest on that post and wait while your draft is generated. Review the text in the comment box, edit as needed, and post on LinkedIn when you are ready. REQUIREMENTS You need a SolenAI account, the same account you use in the SolenAI web application. You need Google Chrome, an active internet connection, and access to LinkedIn in your browser. SIGN IN AND ACCOUNT The extension connects to your SolenAI account using a secure token issued after you sign in through the SolenAI web app. Your token is stored locally in the extension so you do not need to sign in every time you open the browser. You can sign out from the extension popup at any time. Comment generation and optional tracking are processed by SolenAI’s servers. A valid signed-in account is required for suggestions to work. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY TRACKING In the extension popup you can enable or disable activity tracking. When tracking is on, the extension may send lightweight interaction events to your SolenAI account, such as when you start or stop viewing a post, approximate view duration, when you focus the comment box, when you request a suggestion, or when you insert a generated draft into the composer. When tracking is off, comment suggestions still work; only those optional analytics events are skipped. DATA AND PRIVACY When you use this extension, SolenAI may collect or process authentication information such as an API access token that links the extension to your account, stored locally on your device. We associate activity with your SolenAI user profile. Post author names visible on LinkedIn may be sent as context for suggestions or optional logging. When tracking is enabled, we may record user activity such as the interaction events described above. We process website content from LinkedIn, including post text, post URLs, and related metadata visible on the page when you use Suggest or when optional tracking runs. We do not collect health information or financial or payment card data through the extension. We do not collect your general web browsing history. HUMAN IN THE LOOP Every comment is yours. The extension only places draft text in the comment field. You decide whether to edit, discard, or post. Nothing is published without your explicit action on LinkedIn. LINKEDIN COMPATIBILITY The extension is designed for LinkedIn’s current feed and post layouts. LinkedIn sometimes changes its website structure. If the Suggest control does not appear on a post, try refreshing the page. If problems continue, check that you are using the latest version of the extension.
