iCONX Softphone Panel lets you run your web-based softphone inside Chrome's built-in side panel — always visible alongside any webpage you're browsing. KEY FEATURES - Load any softphone URL inside a persistent side panel - One-click microphone and notification permission setup - Auto-reload to recover dropped connections - Sandboxed iframe keeps your softphone isolated and secure - Works with any softphone that supports iframe embedding HOW TO USE 1. Click the iCONX icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the side panel 2. Go to Settings (⚙) and paste your softphone URL 3. Click Save — your softphone loads immediately 4. Grant microphone access when prompted to enable calling PERMISSIONS USED - Microphone – required for voice calls - Notifications – alerts for incoming calls - Side Panel – to display the softphone alongside web pages - Storage – saves your softphone URL between sessions - Active Tab – detects the current tab context REQUIREMENTS Your softphone web app must allow iframe embedding (no X-Frame-Options: DENY). Contact your softphone provider if embedding is blocked.
