Socrative Student

Easy to use and accurate.

Too bad Socrative took away (almost) the web-only (no-app) interface. It's still there, b.socrative.com/login/student but you won't find that info easily on their page.

Socrative Student is a great app to use as an assessment tool in the classroom. I love how you can download the data and monitor the student's progress over time. The only downside is that the free service only allows 50 students in a room per session.

This is a good quiz app, but it could go further. I wish students could login using the Google One-Click button, so that they have a dedicated account on Socrative where they will be able to keep track of all of their quizzes they've taken. You can push it further by allowing students to view their progress graphically over time in a specific area or concept. Awesome!

This is a game changer in the classroom. It will make the expensive, clumsy, "clickers" obsolete. What a great tool.
