Social Feed Purifier helps make supported social feeds calmer, cleaner, and easier to read. Social Feed Purifier is a privacy-first Facebook, LinkedIn and Reddit ad blocker for people who want calmer, cleaner social feeds without sending browsing data anywhere. It detects sponsored/promoted feed posts using local DOM signals, post structure, call-to-action patterns, link cards, media URL patterns, and site-specific rules that run entirely in your browser. It does not rely only on visible ad labels, because those labels are often obfuscated. It hides Facebook Sponsored posts, skips Sponsored Reels on dedicated Facebook Reels pages, hides Reddit Promoted posts in feeds and comment threads, and lets you opt into extra cleanup for recommendations, NSFW posts, spoiler posts, Brand Affiliate posts, videos, external links, and other feed clutter. The extension currently supports Facebook and Reddit feeds. The extension supports Facebook feeds, Facebook Reels, Reddit feeds, and Reddit conversation pages. Detection runs locally in your browser using site-specific DOM signals, post structure, ad labels, call-to-action patterns, link cards, media URL patterns, and local feedback. It does not rely only on visible "Sponsored" or "Promoted" labels, because those labels can be delayed, hidden, or obfuscated.
