Social Cue
Overview
Spot social-media engagement opportunities for your brands while you browse. Uses your own AI key. Local-first: we collect nothing.
Social Cue watches the pages you're **already reading** - Reddit, Hacker News, and X - and spots conversations worth joining for your brand: someone asking for a tool like yours, a thread your experience answers, a complaint about a competitor's category. - **Passive by design.** It only reads what's on your screen. No crawling, no automated navigation, and it never posts anything. - **Your own AI key.** Scoring runs against Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (GPT) using your own API key, stored locally. A cheap pre-filter keeps costs low; you set a daily cap. - **Local storage** Opportunities live in your browser's local storage. We operate no server that sees your pages, brands, or queue. The only network calls go to your chosen AI provider with your key and optionally, if you enable it — the Social Cue Claude plugin's dashboard on 127.0.0.1 - **Free to use.** The companion Claude Code plugin adds active automated discovery, a unified dashboard, and assisted posting Drafted replies are starting points, not scripts — you edit and post everything yourself, in line with each community's norms.
