SnipWise turns the pages you read into work you keep — answers, notebooks, study kits, charts, code, and documents, all from one side panel. SNIP ANYTHING (Alt+X) Select part of any webpage, review the capture, and black out anything sensitive locally before it leaves your browser. Only the selected area is sent for an AI answer. Ask follow-ups, paste more screenshots, and export any answer as Markdown, TXT, PDF, flashcards, notes, or a quiz. Heavier actions (images, code bundles, study kits, documents) use more credits than short page chat. PRIVACY, BRIEFLY SnipWise acts only when you do. Snips are previewed and locally redactable before upload. Page context is read when you refresh it or run a feature. Notebooks, clips, decks, tables, and saved answers stay in local extension storage until you run a hosted action on them or export them. Location is requested only for local questions you ask, with the browser permission prompt. Provider API keys live on the hosted SnipWise worker — never in the extension. Do not upload secrets, regulated data, or content you lack permission to process. AI answers can be wrong; verify important results.
