Snippets for Outlook — Email Templates
Overview
Save email templates and insert them in Outlook with a keyboard shortcut. Stop retyping the same replies.
Stop retyping the same emails. Snippets for Outlook lets you save any reply as a template and drop it into a message in two keystrokes. Type your shortcode, press Tab, done. HOW IT WORKS 1. Save a template and give it a shortcode — for example ";;chase" for your invoice follow-up. 2. In any Outlook message, type ;;chase and press Tab. 3. The full template replaces it instantly. Prefer to browse? Press Ctrl+Shift+Space (Cmd+Shift+Space on Mac) to open a searchable list of every template you've saved. WHO IT'S FOR - Anyone sending the same replies repeatedly — support, sales, recruitment, accounts, client services - People who moved from Gmail and miss having canned responses - Teams standardising how they answer common questions WHY THIS ONE - Works in Outlook on the web — outlook.office.com, outlook.office365.com and outlook.live.com - Templates sync automatically across every Chrome you're signed into - Multi-line templates keep their formatting - No account to create, no sign-up, no onboarding PRIVACY This extension has no server, no analytics, and makes no network requests of any kind — your templates and your email are never sent to us or anyone else. Templates are stored in Chrome's own storage and sync through your Google account, exactly the way your bookmarks do. You can verify all of this: there is not a single fetch or XMLHttpRequest in the source. SUPPORT Found a bug or want a feature? Use the support link on this listing.
