Snippet Mind helps you capture only the important paragraphs from the web — not whole pages. Solo founders, students, PMs, marketers, consultants… anyone who lives in browser tabs all day can keep key quotes and ideas without breaking their reading flow. How it works 1. Select text on any page. 2. Press Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on Mac). 3. The snippet is saved with page title, URL and timestamp. 4. Open the popup to review, search, add notes, and export. Key features • Snippets are grouped by page/session so you always know where they came from. • Fast search across snippet text, page titles, headings, session titles and your own notes. • Mini notes for each snippet with autosave as you type. • Collapse/expand pages or individual snippets to keep long research sessions tidy. Export • Export one group, current search results, or all snippets at once. • Choose formatted Markdown (with headings and quote blocks) or plain text. • Copy to clipboard or download as .md / .txt to use in Notion, docs, or AI tools. Privacy All snippets are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage. No external servers, no tracking, no ads.
