SnipIt is a fast way to capture, annotate and share what's on your screen — without leaving Chrome. CAPTURE • Full-page screenshots, including long and lazy-loaded pages • The visible area, or drag to select any region • An annotation editor: arrows, lines, shapes, text, highlighting, blur, pixelation, focus and numbered steps • Move, resize and restyle anything you've drawn, then crop before you share RECORD • Record a browser tab, together with its audio • Record a screen or window using Chrome's own source picker • Optional microphone, and a camera bubble in the corner • Pause, resume, trim, download, or keep it on your device SHARE • Upload to your SnipIt account and copy the link in one click • A Capture Vault of everything you've shared — search, rename, manage privacy, delete • Or skip uploading entirely and save recordings locally HOW IT WORKS Captures stay on your device until you choose to share them. You sign in through SnipIt's secure account flow — the extension ships no shared API key or application secret, and uploads travel over your own browser session. WHAT CHROME ALLOWS SnipIt works inside Chrome. Chrome does not let extensions capture its own internal pages (such as chrome://settings), silently record other applications, or register system-wide shortcuts.
