SNIP TO AI Capture any part of the current browser tab and send it directly to your preferred AI chat or external destination. Snip to AI is designed for a fast screenshot-to-AI workflow. Open snip mode with a keyboard shortcut, select exactly what you need, and choose whether to send it immediately or select a specific conversation. KEYBOARD SHORTCUT Windows / Linux: Alt + Shift + S macOS: Command + Shift + S You can change the shortcut at any time through Chrome’s extension shortcut settings. HOW IT WORKS 1. Press the keyboard shortcut to open snip mode. 2. Drag over the area of the current browser tab that you want to capture. 3. Choose how the screenshot should be delivered: LEFT-CLICK AND DRAG — QUICK SEND Sends the screenshot directly to the last active chat or the most recent available chat for your selected provider. RIGHT-CLICK AND DRAG — CHOOSE CHAT Opens the destination window so you can select the exact provider and recent conversation before sending. ALT / OPTION AND DRAG — CHOOSE CHAT As an alternative to right-clicking, hold Alt on Windows or Linux, or Option on macOS, while dragging to open the conversation selector. 4. Snip to AI captures the selected area. 5. The image is copied to your clipboard when supported. 6. The screenshot is delivered to the selected destination. Press Esc at any time to cancel snip mode. MAIN FEATURES • Capture a selected area of the current browser tab • Use QUICK SEND with the left mouse button • Use CHOOSE CHAT with the right mouse button • Select an exact recent conversation before sending • Switch AI provider from the destination window • Send screenshots directly to supported AI services • Automatically open or activate the required destination tab • Copy captured images to the clipboard when supported • Choose your default provider from the extension popup • Redirect automatically to the destination tab when enabled • Configure external destinations through Telegram or an HTTPS webhook • Manage OpenClaw, Nous Research Hermes and Telegram connections from the extension settings • Change the keyboard shortcut through Chrome’s shortcut settings SUPPORTED DESTINATIONS • ChatGPT • Claude • Gemini • OpenClaw through Telegram • Nous Research Hermes through Telegram • User-configured Telegram recipients or bots • User-configured HTTPS webhooks IMPORTANT NOTES • Snip to AI captures content from the current browser tab only. • Restricted browser pages, including chrome:// pages, cannot be captured. • Some protected Chrome and Google pages may not be supported. • AI upload depends on the upload interface currently provided by each destination website. • To access recent conversations, you must already have a tab open and be signed in to the relevant AI service. • This keeps access limited to your existing browser session. • QUICK SEND uses the last active chat or the most recent available chat for the selected provider. • OpenClaw and Nous Research Hermes are currently accessed through a user-configured Telegram connection. • Telegram and webhook delivery require configuration inside the extension settings. Snip to AI reduces the screenshot-to-AI process to a shortcut and a mouse drag, without saving files, switching between tools or manually uploading every capture.
