Search your saved posts.

You saved it. Now find it. Instagram gives you no way to search your own saved posts. Sniff does — without uploading anything, anywhere. Sniff reads through everything you have saved and builds a private index on your own computer. Then you can search it three ways at once: • The caption — every word the poster wrote, plus hashtags, the account name and the collection you filed it under. • What is in the picture — search "car" and get the posts with a car in them, even when the caption never says so. Search "wedding" and the jewellery comes up too. • The text printed on the picture — the words on a recipe card, a carousel slide, a screenshot of a tweet. Results are ordered by what you actually searched for, newest saves first, with the confident matches above the maybes. Nothing leaves your browser. No account, no sign-in, no server. Your saved posts, the pictures and the index are stored on your own machine and are never transmitted. Sniff has no analytics and no telemetry. How it works. Open Sniff in the side panel, press Go fetch, and leave it to read through your saves — a few minutes for a few hundred posts. After that, searching is instant. Press Check for new saves whenever you want to pick up what you have added since. One thing to know before installing: to recognise what is in a picture, Sniff downloads an open-source image model (about 190MB) on first use. It downloads once, it runs entirely on your computer, and nothing you search is ever sent anywhere.
