Snapshot takes screenshots of web pages four ways, and gets out of your way. VISIBLE AREA One click captures exactly what's on screen, scrollbar trimmed off. Alt+Shift+V does it without opening the popup. SELECT AREA The popup closes, the page dims, and you drag a box around what you want. Hold near the top or bottom edge while dragging to scroll and select something taller than one screen. Release to capture, Esc to cancel. Alt+Shift+S starts it straight from the keyboard. EXACT SIZE Type a width and height — 1080 × 1080, 1200 × 630, whatever you need — and a box of exactly that size follows your cursor. Click to place it. The saved file comes out at precisely those dimensions, so it drops straight into a post, a slide, or an ad slot without resizing. FULL PAGE Scrolls the page in steps and stitches the pieces into one tall image. Sticky headers and floating buttons are hidden after the first slice, so they appear once at the top instead of repeating down the shot. Alt+Shift+F triggers it directly. Works on pages with their own independently scrolling panels too, not just the main window. MARK IT UP BEFORE YOU SAVE Every capture opens in a full-page editor first — arrows, freeform lines, rectangles, ovals, callout text boxes, and an eraser for redacting anything you don't want to share. Ten colors, three thicknesses, full undo/redo. Zoom in to check fine detail or zoom out to see a long page at once. Nothing is saved or copied until you say so. DOWNLOAD OR CLIPBOARD, JPG, PNG, OR PDF Choose your format and delay before you capture, then Download or Copy once you're happy with the annotated result. A DELAY WHEN YOU NEED ONE Turn on a delay — 3, 5, or 10 seconds — to capture menus, tooltips, and hover states that would otherwise disappear before you can shoot them. SHARE THE EXTENSION, NOT JUST THE SHOT A small share panel in the editor lets you pass Snapshot along to a teammate — copy a ready-made message, or send it straight to WhatsApp — without touching the screenshot you just took. It makes no network requests, contains no analytics, and sends nothing anywhere. Screenshots are assembled and annotated on your machine and go only where you send them. Notes: Chrome blocks screen capture on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, and other extension pages — Snapshot falls back to a screen-share capture on those. Chrome also rate-limits capture to roughly two frames per second, so a long full-page or scrolled selection shot takes a few seconds. Pages that scroll inside their own container are supported for Full page and Select area; a container nested inside another scrolling container falls back to a warning shown in the editor.
