It is not a native desktop transparent overlay. ## Microphone-Based Subtitles SnapPilot can generate subtitles from microphone input when subtitles are enabled. Subtitles are designed for voice narration and may depend on browser speech recognition availability, microphone quality, language support, and background noise. Subtitles are microphone-based and may not reliably transcribe system audio, tab audio, meeting audio, or speaker audio unless that sound is captured through the microphone. ## Privacy-Friendly, Local-First Design SnapPilot is designed with a local-first approach.
