Overview

Extract image text, translate regions, inspect fonts and colors, create QR codes, and revisit results in one compact toolbar.

SnapLens brings OCR, translation, font and color tools, QR creation, and History into one compact toolbar on your current tab. Read text in images with Google Lens OCR. Paste an image with Ctrl + V (or Command + V on macOS), drop or upload a file, right-click an image, or select a visible area of the current tab. Review and edit the recognized text, copy it, or translate it with Google Translate. Select a region of a webpage to recognize and translate its text in place. Choose a saved target language, switch between the original and translated text, and move each result to a clearer spot when needed. SnapLens also lets you: - Inspect text styles on a webpage, including font family, size, weight, and style. - Get font suggestions for an image with Google Gemini. This optional feature requires your own Gemini API key. - Sample colors from a webpage and revisit their values in History. - Create QR codes from text or links. Choose a square, rounded, or dotted style, set a color, add a center logo, then copy or download the PNG. QR codes are generated on your device. - Reopen OCR, translation, QR, font, and color results from History. History is stored locally in Chrome until you delete or clear it. - Choose source and target languages, swap them, search the language list, or let Google Translate detect the source language. OCR and translation work without an account or API key. Images are sent to Google Lens only when you choose to process them; text is sent to Google Translate only when you request a translation. If you use image font detection, the selected image is sent to Google Gemini for analysis. SnapLens does not sell this data or use it for advertising.
