FramioCam is a screen recorder and screenshot tool for Chrome. Record your screen with webcam and audio, capture full-page screenshots, and edit both in one browser studio. Capture a webpage, a browser tab, your screen, or a selected area, then edit the result in the built-in studio: window frames, backgrounds, a camera overlay, annotations, zoom and cursor effects, and export. SCREENSHOTS Capture the visible page, or a full-page screenshot made by scrolling the page and stitching the result together. Capture several pages and edit them alongside each other before exporting. Style what you captured with macOS and Windows 11 window frames, gradient or solid backgrounds in any colour, subtle grain and lighting, cropping and positioning, and your own watermark. Annotate with arrows, lines, shapes, text, highlights, numbered steps, a magnifier, and a blur for anything that should not be shared. Finished images can be copied to the clipboard, downloaded one at a time, or packaged as a ZIP. SCREEN RECORDING Record a browser tab, your screen, or a rectangle you drag out of either, with your microphone and camera if you want them. The video editor gives you a timeline with several clips and tracks: split, trim, move and ripple-delete, fade between clips, add audio and set volume, and play back from 0.25x to 4x. It zooms in automatically on the places you clicked, draws a cursor and a click indicator back into a tab recording, and exports MP4, WebM, GIF, or a single frame as PNG. The camera is one picture on the frame. Move it, resize it, and shape it to fit the design. Any section of a project can show the camera and the recording together, or just one of them. CAPTURE HISTORY Recent captures stay available, so you can reopen one instead of taking it again. You can pin up to 10 screenshots for quick access, and turn capture history off in the extension's settings. EDITED ON YOUR OWN COMPUTER Your screenshots and recordings are processed and edited on your machine. If you connect cloud storage and enable uploads or project sync, your media is sent to that provider. It is not uploaded to FramioCam's servers. Licence checks do not include your screenshots or recordings. FREE TO TRY You can take 50 screenshots before activating a free licence key, which then makes them unlimited. Recording and editing video work before you sign in to anything. Video export asks for a free account: free exports are 1080p and carry a small FramioCam mark, and a paid licence removes the mark and raises the resolution. Video is large, which is what the unlimited part is for. notifications and contextMenus: to tell you when a recording has finished, and to offer capture from the right-click menu. clipboardWrite: to copy captured screenshots and finished mockups directly to your clipboard for instant pasting. identity: to sign in to Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive when you choose to connect one, so your captures can be saved there. It does not read the Google account you are signed in to Chrome with.
