Overview

Capture any page as an image or PDF and save it straight to your device, to Google Drive, or both. No account needed.

Most screenshot tools make you choose: fast but low quality, or good but a five-step download-then-re-upload dance. SnapDock does neither. Capture, pick your format, and the file lands where you actually want it. It works the second you install it. Saving to your device needs no account, no sign-in, and no setup at all. WHAT YOU GET - Three ways to capture: the visible area, a region you drag, or an entire scrolling page. - Full-page capture that behaves: it scrolls, stitches the sections into one clean image, keeps sticky headers from repeating down the page, waits for lazy-loaded images, and puts your scroll position back afterwards. - Real PDFs: A4, A3, Letter, Legal, fit-to-image or a custom size, with orientation, margins and scale. A long page is split neatly across pages instead of squeezed onto one. - Image formats that respect quality: PNG, JPEG and WebP, with your own quality and resolution. Defaults are lossless, so screenshots of text stay sharp. - Save to your device, to Google Drive, or to both at once. - Filename templates: build names from {date}, {time}, {domain}, {title} and more, with a live preview as you type. - Presets: save a whole setup and run it later with one click. Bug report and Documentation presets are included to start with. - Keyboard shortcuts for the visible area, the full page, and region select, without opening the popup. - Optional preview step, so you can check a capture before it goes anywhere. WHEN ONE DESTINATION FAILS Saving to two places can partly succeed. If your Drive upload fails, SnapDock tells you the file is already safe on your device and offers a retry for just the part that failed. It will not claim success it did not have. GOOGLE DRIVE IS OPTIONAL If you never connect Drive, no Google service is ever contacted and no permission is ever requested. If you do connect it, SnapDock asks for a single narrow permission (drive.file), which covers only the files and folders it creates for you. Your existing Drive files stay invisible to it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. - No server. There is nothing to send your captures to. - With the default local destination, captures never leave your computer. - Open source under the MIT licence: https://github.com/himanshuramavat/snap-dock NOTE SnapDock is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Chrome cannot capture its own internal pages (such as chrome://settings or the Web Store), which is a browser restriction rather than a SnapDock limitation. SnapDock works on Windows, macOS, and Linux with all major browsers.
