Overview

Capture any element as a pixel-perfect screenshot — full height, true transparency, then annotate and frame it.

SnapCode Pro captures a single element from any webpage as a clean, pixel-perfect screenshot — not the whole page, not a rectangular crop, the actual element — then gives you an editor to frame, annotate, and redact it before you export. HOW IT WORKS Click the toolbar icon (or press Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+E), hover over the page to highlight elements, and click to capture. A live label shows you the tag, id, class and pixel dimensions of whatever you're pointing at. Precise targeting, not just hovering: • Arrow keys walk the DOM — up/down for parent/child, left/right for siblings — so you can correct the selection without fighting the layout • Freeze the selection (F) so you can move the mouse away: capture a dropdown or tooltip that only exists while something else is hovered, or capture an element without its hover state • Shift-click to select multiple elements at once — captures their combined bounding box CAPTURE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS • Elements taller than your screen are captured in full, not clipped — the extension scrolls and stitches automatically • True transparent backgrounds, recovered by photographing the element over two different backdrops and solving for alpha per pixel (opt-in, since it takes twice as long) • Sticky headers and fixed navbars are hidden during capture so they don't paint over the top of your element • Fixed-position elements (like the navbar itself) are handled correctly and captured in place EDIT BEFORE YOU EXPORT Every capture opens in a built-in editor: • Backdrops — transparent, solid colors, or gradients • Padding, corner radius, and a drop shadow that follows the real shape of your capture • Annotate with arrows, rectangles, ellipses, a pen tool, a highlighter, and text • Redact sensitive information with a real pixelation tool — the underlying pixels are destroyed, not just covered up • Undo/redo, then export as PNG, JPG, or WebP, or copy straight to your clipboard PRIVACY SnapCode Pro only runs on the page you invoke it on — there's no background content script running on every site you visit, no page data is sent anywhere, and there's no host permission in the manifest. Everything happens locally in your browser. Keyboard shortcuts, framing, annotation, and redaction are all included. No account, no watermark, no paywall.
