WHY THIS EXISTS Most screenshot tools end with a download. You capture something, the file drops into Downloads, you go find it, you attach it, and eventually you delete it. Do that twenty times a day and you have twenty junk files and twenty unnecessary detours. SnapClip ends the flow at Ctrl+V. HOW IT WORKS 1. Press Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac) 2. Drag to select any part of the page 3. Annotate it 4. Press Enter It's in your clipboard. Paste it into any chat app, email, document, ticket, or design tool that accepts an image. EXTRACT TEXT FROM ANY SCREENSHOT Press X and drag over any text in your capture — an error message, a phone number in an image, text in a PDF screenshot, a table you can't select. SnapClip reads it and hands you editable text with a Copy button. This runs entirely on your machine. SnapClip bundles the recognition engine locally, so your screenshot never leaves your computer, and it works with no internet connection at all. REAL REDACTION The blur tool actually destroys the pixels underneath rather than laying a translucent shape over them. Anything you blur is genuinely gone from the exported image, not just visually covered. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION SnapClip makes no network requests. None. Your screenshots are processed entirely inside your browser and never leave your machine. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry.
