SNAPBOX - PRODUCTIVITY SELECTION TOOL SnapBox is a browser tool for users who frequently perform repetitive actions on websites. The extension enables simultaneous opening of multiple links, selection of checkboxes, and clicking of buttons through simple drag gestures. RIGHT-CLICK DRAG GRID The main feature of SnapBox is the right-click drag grid. Hold down the right mouse button and drag over elements to capture them: • Open multiple links simultaneously in new tabs • Automatically click buttons by dragging • Quickly select checkboxes and radio buttons • Open hi-res images directly (works on Amazon, Geizhals) • Smart deduplication prevents duplicate tabs • Optional: Copy links to clipboard while dragging • Configurable delay between tab openings • Optional: Modifier key (Shift/Ctrl/Alt) required CHECKBOX STRIPE As a complement, SnapBox offers a checkbox stripe specifically developed for webmail applications or pages with many vertical checkbox columns: • Optimized for Gmail, Protonmail, Fastmail and Outlook.com • Column-wise selection by vertical dragging • Configurable activation key (Shift/Ctrl/Alt) • Two modes: "Toggle" or "Only activate" • Adjustable bar width (narrow/medium/wide) • Optional: Counter badge shows number of marked checkboxes THEME ADAPTATION SnapBox automatically adapts to dark and light mode and uses optimized color schemes for each theme: • Automatic color adjustment: Blue in light mode, orange in dark mode (default) • Better visibility through theme-dependent element highlighting • Separate configuration for both modes (color, opacity, highlighting) • Dark Reader integration: Automatically detects when Dark Reader is active • Automatic detection of system theme as fallback • Interactive theme detection for any website • Pre-configured patterns for Geizhals, GitHub, Computerbase • Manual pattern management with search function The advantage: Right-click drag grid and checkbox stripe automatically adapt their colors to the current theme, ensuring selection overlays are always clearly visible — whether you work in light or dark mode. For advanced customization, open the options page via the extension icon. The live preview shows all changes in real-time, allowing you to test your configuration before using it on real websites. NOTE All interactions require conscious user input (right-click drag or modifier key combinations). The extension does not perform any automatic actions.
