Snap2PDF - long pages to PDF
Overview
Turn long or hard-to-print webpages into a PDF: capture the full page automatically, or draw a box and capture as you scroll.
Some pages just will not print. Endless scrolling articles, e-book readers, dashboards, course notes that break apart the moment you hit Ctrl+P. Snap2PDF takes the picture instead, and builds the PDF for you. TWO WAYS TO CAPTURE Full page, automatic. One click and the page scrolls itself from top to bottom, one screenshot per screen, then downloads as a single PDF. Sticky headers are hidden after the first screen so they do not repeat on every page. Manual box capture. Draw a box around the part you actually want - or hover and let Snap2PDF outline the article, panel or figure under your cursor and click to take it. Then press Enter to capture, scroll, Enter again. Press S to save. HANDS-OFF CAPTURE Press A and Snap2PDF repeats the whole cycle by itself: capture, advance, capture, advance, for as many pages as you ask for. It can advance by scrolling a set number of pixels, by clicking a "next page" button, or by pressing Page Down - whichever your reader responds to. If a page is slow to redraw it waits and looks again rather than skipping it. MADE FOR READERS THAT FIGHT BACK - Measure tells you exactly how far one page turn moves, so the capture step is right instead of guessed. - Set a click point on the reader's own "next" arrow and Snap2PDF presses it. - Saved areas remember the boxes you use often - one click to reuse. - Your box, click point and timings are remembered per site, so the second visit needs no setup at all. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens inside your browser. No account, no uploads, no servers, no tracking. The screenshots become a PDF on your own machine and go nowhere else. The extension has no network code in it at all. GOOD TO KNOW - Sharper 2x/3x capture and real clicks/keystrokes are optional extras. Chrome asks for one additional permission only if you switch them on, and the rest of the extension works fully without it. - Chrome does not let any extension run on its built-in PDF viewer or on chrome:// pages, so Snap2PDF cannot capture those.
