Snap2Paste is a Chrome extension that makes everyday screenshot tasks quick and simple, from capturing the visible area to saving an entire page. You can save captures as image files or export long pages as multi-page PDFs. Its standout feature is sending a captured screenshot straight to the clipboard, so you can paste it directly into AI chats such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. This removes the extra steps of finding and uploading an image file, helping you continue your work without interruption. Just select the Snap2Paste toolbar icon, choose an output, and capture. Whether you need the visible area immediately or want to save a full page, Snap2Paste keeps the process simple. It is also designed to handle not only regular long pages, but layouts such as dashboards and admin screens where a large inner panel scrolls inside a fixed page. [How to use] - Open a regular web page. - Select the Snap2Paste toolbar icon. - Choose Clipboard, Image file, or PDF as the output. - Select Visible area or Full page. - If you choose an image file or PDF, select a save location in Chrome’s save dialog. [Why permissions are needed] - To capture the page you are viewing This is used only to capture the page the user is currently viewing. - To capture a full page This is used to automatically scroll the current page only when the user requests a full-page capture. - To paste a captured image immediately This is used to copy the generated image to the clipboard. - To save images and PDFs This is used to save generated files to a location selected by the user. - To remember settings This is used to store the selected output and sequential filename information locally on the device. - To combine images and create PDFs This is used to combine captured images and create image files or PDFs locally inside the extension.
