SNAKE//GLITCH replaces Chrome's new tab page with a cyberpunk-aesthetic take on Snake. Open a tab, play a round, get back to work. FEATURES • Three difficulty levels (easy / normal / hard) with progressive speed ramping • Four color themes: green, purple, blue, orange • Power-ups: Slow, Invincible, Double Score, Shrink • Obstacles that spawn at score thresholds • Combo system — chain food pickups within 3s for score multipliers • Wall-wrap mode for a forgiving playstyle • Lifetime stats and high score saved locally • Background music + SFX, both individually muteable • Full keyboard (WASD / arrows / Space / Esc / P) and touch swipe controls PRIVACY This extension stores your high score, settings, and stats only in your browser's local storage. It does not collect, transmit, or share any data. It requests no permissions and contacts no servers.
