You control your data. And it's free. As someone with ADHD who works with clients in various capacities, context switching is one of my biggest challenges. Every time I switch between a project or client, I need to open like 5 or 6 new tabs in my browser and it gets messy quick. I built Snackbar to wrangle the chaos and organize everything I need in a single panel that slides open without leaving your current tab. I hope you like it as much as I do! WORKSPACES Create a space for every project, client, or area of focus. Inside each space, save links, organize them into groups, and drag to reorder everything. It's your browser, organized the way your brain works. LINK NOTES Right-click any saved link to attach notes and login credentials. Keep project context — URLs, usernames, passwords, and reference notes — all in one place. NOTES & TODOS Every workspace gets its own collection of notes and todo lists. Pin important ones to the top. Use the global notepad view to see all notes and todos across every space, or create quick unscoped notes from anywhere. VISUAL FOCUS TIMER Set a countdown or use the stopwatch. A circular progress ring keeps time visible. Visual timers are especially helpful for ADHD brains that tend to hyper-focus and lose track of time. AUTOMATIC TIME TRACKING Snackbar quietly logs time spent on every site, every day. PRIVACY & YOUR DATA Snackbar doesn't have a server. Your data lives on your computer in Chrome's local storage — that's it. If you want backup or sync across devices, you can connect your own Google Drive. Your data goes straight from your browser to your Drive — we never see it, store it, or touch it. You're in complete control. VOICE TRANSCRIPTION Record meetings, lectures, or just your own thoughts — right from the notepad. Audio is transcribed using your choice of provider (Groq, OpenAI, or your own self-hosted endpoint). Your API key stays local; audio goes directly to your provider. APP LINKS Create deep links that open your go-to software where you left off. Open your coding apps right from your browser. Enable VS Code, Cursor, or any of 7 supported terminals, set your projects folder, and launch with one click. Terminal support uses Hatch, a free open-source helper app for macOS. CLOUD SAVE Save your daily notes and workspace notes as .txt files to Google Drive or a self-hosted Nextcloud server. Files are organized by space and updated in place — no duplicates. SYNC ACROSS DEVICES Sign in with your Google account and keep your spaces, notes, todos, and settings in sync across computers. Your data is stored privately in a hidden app folder on your Drive — it never touches our servers.
