The official companion for the SMS Backup & Restore Android app. If you use Google Messages for Web on your computer, some of your conversations may not be included in the backups made on your phone. Messages Companion completes them: it takes the conversations from your own signed-in Google Messages for Web session and delivers them to the SMS Backup & Restore app on your phone, so every chat is backed up, searchable and exportable in one place. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your messages travel directly from your browser to your phone over an end-to-end encrypted connection. They are never uploaded to, stored on, or readable by our servers. • Works only with the Google account you are already signed in to — it never asks for your password and never signs in on your behalf. • No ads, no analytics, no data sharing.
